• High school pupils from Sadako School visit IGTP

  On 5 June, the fourth year high school students from Sadako School in Barcelona explored the facilities of IGTP in a morning filled with activity. The visit introduced them to some basic principles of scientific research.

• IGTP closes another round of La Marató visits to its laboratories

  Once again, the "Visita la recerca" program of Fundació La Marató de TV3 has successfully concluded at Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP), where a score of collaborators had the opportunity to discover firsthand the research projects supported through this charitable initiative.

  This March, IGTP resumed the round of visits from La Marató de TV3 donors to its laboratories, as part of the Visita la recerca program, offering a closer look at the progress of funded research projects.

• Students from Sadako School and UAB Biomedicine visit the IGTP

  On May, students from Sadako School and the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) visited the IGTP as part of its educational outreach to promote science among young people.

• The Core Facilities of the Can Ruti Campus: cutting-edge technology driving excellence in research

  At the Campus Can Ruti Core Facilities Infoday, the Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute and the Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute showcased their scientific services and the support they can offer to research conducted both on the campus and externally. The event also featured the presentation of the new IGTP-IJC Joint Flow Cytometry Unit, which has one of the most advanced infrastructures in the EU, as well as the new IJC's Translational-PATH2CURE hub, which aims to accelerate the translation of scientific discoveries into treatments for patients.
