Objectives
The Translational Cancer Seminars of the CARE Program at the IIS IGTP aim to promote dialogue between groups from different disciplines to strengthen translational research and its impact on clinical practice.
Sessions pair basic and clinical researchers working on common problems in a specific type of cancer to increase problem solving. They aim to consolidate knowledge and synergies to speed the development of advances in prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
The CARE Program Translational Cancer Seminars are a space for groups from the IIS IGTP to meet, share and learn together with clear scientific objectives in mind. Seminars include internal and external speakers who provide expert input on specific topics.
Schedule and calendar
Sessions are held twice a month on Wednesdays from 14.30-15.30 in the Sala Polivalent, IGTP Mar Building. They are in hybrid format, it is preferred to attend in person, but it is possible to attend online.

Format
The format can vary, but usually consists of two short talks from CARE researchers or invited speakers and discussion.
Target audience
These sessions are of interest to everyone working on cancer. They are aimed at the CARE community, but open to researchers from other centres on, or outside the Can Ruti Campus, who should use the registration form to receive information.
Attendance and certificates
The CARE Translational Sessions are free to attend. Please complete the form if you want to receive reminders of the sessions by email, or through your Outlook calendar.
Certificates will only be provided for members of the IIS-IGTP community attending in-person. Certificates cannot be issued for attending online. Researchers requiring attendance certificates must complete the form and provide their information prior to attending the sessions.
